B. Wilson Engineering Inc. is a family-owned structural engineering firm proudly serving homeowners, contractors, and industry professionals since 2004. With over 35 years of hands-on engineering experience, we’ve built our reputation on practical solutions, reliable service, and deep industry knowledge.
Our history
Our founder and primary engineer Brad Wilson, P.Eng., graduated from Western University in 1988 and earned his engineering stamp in 1990. His early career began in geotechnical engineering at Golder Associates (1988–1996), followed by roles in construction estimating and materials sales with TCG Materials (1996–1997).
Brad later worked in the roof truss industry—first with Fennell Roof Truss (1999–2001), then Watford Roof Truss (2001–2002)—before taking on a consulting role in 2003. In 2004, he officially opened B. Wilson Engineering, combining decades of practical field experience with structural design expertise.
Our Team
- Brad Wilson, P.Eng. – Civil Engineer with 35+ years of experience and a passion for solving structural challenges.
- Aidan Wilson– EIT (Engineer-in-Training), assisting with structural analysis and inspections.
- Jordan Wilson – IT and Drafting Specialist, handling technical drawings, CAD work, and digital support for the team.
- Carol Wilson – Office Administration and Accounting, keeping the business organized and running smoothly behind the scenes.
